Original black and white portrait photograph of Katherine Grey (1873-1950), an American Broadway actress, who looks at viewers with a smile and slight tilt of the head. She wears an outfit with fringe, floral embroidery, and a bonnet with a floral accent piece. Photograph mounted on black mat board with beveled edges. Mat board has white printed text in lower-right corner on front that says, "Bushnell, San Francisco, Sacramento, San Jose, Oakland." No date, circa 1895. Mat board measures 7" x 9." Portrait is oval-shaped and takes up an area 3 1/2" x 5" in a slightly recessed area in the center. Photograph and mat board are very clean and intact overall. There is slight dampstaining on the back of the mat board on the left edge but does not show on the front. Slight spots on photograph but hardly affects the image quality.. Photographic Image.
