Original blind dec. brown buckram with gilt tiles to the spine and blind-ruled borders. The spine is complete but has a tear 6cms form the head of the spine.so the top of spine is loose but still attached. [John Williams was a missionary in the Cook Islands who translated the first part of the bible into Raratogan in 1828 but in 1837 was killed and eaten by local tribesmen]. In need of the spine being rebacked otherwise a complete copy of a scarce volume.. Book Condition: V.g.. Binding: Hardback
