Complete. Landscape format. Pierre Crocquet, a former merchant-banker, is a much regarded South African photographic essayist. This is a first edition of his first book that aims to captain the character of South Africans. The evocative dustjacket is intact, whole and secure. It is much worn and marked and scuffed from handling and storage. The laminated cover is worn about the spine and lightly marked about the edges. Otherwise, it is tight, assured and wholesome. Inside, the contents are very lightly marked about some edges from storage. Nonetheless the pages are firm against the spine and binding, clean, clear, eloquent, tidy, neat and lucid. fk.
