First edition. Demy 8vo. 24pp. Hand-set, printed on handmade paper and bound into card wrappers. Wrappers a little dusty, nicked and chipped at yapped edges and with several small areas of staining, but a lovely crisp copy internally. A small label noting the printing and pricing details (perhaps once part of a wraparound band) has been pasted to the inner wrapper, resulting in a small rectangle of offsetting to the adjacent free endpaper. Embossed 'Presentation Copy' stamp. A very good copy, some leaves uncut. Although dated 1925 this anthology was in fact issued in October 1924 thereby constituting Day Lewis' first bookform appearance. Handley-Taylor & DArch Smith B1.. Book. Book Condition: Very Good.
