The second one is written in English (Communicated by Professor HUXLEY (presumably Thomas Henry Huxley "Darwin's Bulldog") with pp. 19 to 94 plus five plates (one is a fold-out). the covers are DETACHED and present and the spine covering is missing. The binding is cracked at the center and the rest of it is otherwise secure. The front/rear endpapers are browned with some mild foxing at the rear illustrations and some pages with uniformly browned pages to the front section.
