First Edition (first printing). Slim 8vo. 48pp. Black buckram lettered in gold at the spine. Printed on laid paper. The tip of one corner gently knocked and with a short mark to the buckram at the upper board. Several tiny pinpricks of spotting to the upper margin of the title leaf. A very good copy in non-price-clipped dust wrapper, lightly faded and rubbed with a tiny sliver of loss from the head of the spine panel. Fifty-one poems, including many with a Secord World War theme. The author's first book, published posthumously following his death in action in Italy in December 1943. Uncommon, and more so with the dust wrapper.. Book. Book Condition: Very Good. Binding: Hardcover. Jacket: Very Good
