Undated title-page with James Duncan and the title 'The Natural History of British Moths, Spinxes &c with additional title-pages 'The Naturalist Library Entomology Vol. VII' amd another later title-page 'The Naturalist Library edited by Sir William Jardine Bart. Vol XL. Un-coloured vignette of two cherubs playing with moths to the half title-page facing the frontis. Plain cloth binding with gilt titles. Also a memoir of Maria Sibilla Merian the subject of the frontis [heavily foxed]. This appears to be the 1841 printing with later title-pages added.. Book Condition: V.g..
