Original black-and-white photograph on board showing a view of a train depot in Brazil as taken from a train. The scene shows the depot buildings and platform and a perspective, straight-shot view of a railway. A few people are standing on the platform. A few buildings and trees are visible in the hazy background. The photo is circular in shape and surrounded by a white background with a brown border and gilt edges on rectangular board. Dated July 1893 ["July 93"] on back in red ink. 4 1/4" x 5 1/4." Photo is virtually pristine and intact except for a few small marks on front, slight edge wear, and age toning on back. A Very Good copy. The subject of the photo is described on back with handwriting in red ink: "Depot at Brazil [--?], from train." Eastman Kodak Company copyright information also printed on back: "Manufacturers of the Kodak Camera, Eastman Kodak Co.; 115 Oxford St., London; Rochester, N.Y.". Photographic Image.
