An original leaf of text published by the West Publishing Co. (1889) is tipped in on the front free endpaper and comprises the State Report Citation of the Cases in Northwestern Report, Vol. 1. Pages are very clean and intact except for light age toning throughout and darker age toning on the edges of some pages. Covers are clean and intact overall. Binding is tight. There is wear along the edges, corners, and front and back outer joints. Spots of discoloration on front and back covers. Some chipping along the head of the spine and slight cracking toward the top and bottom of the outer joints. Parts of the spine labels are chipped (slight loss of text) or faded. A Very Good copy.
