Christmas greeting: One sheet of stiff paper folded once to make a 4-pp. booklet. First panel has reproduction of a drawing by Leonardo da Vinci; third panel has Christmas greeting from Dr. Belt. Other panels blank. 4to. 7-3/4 x 10-5/16 inches. Brochure: Self-covered pamphlet, saddlestitched. 8vo. 6 x 9 inches. [8] pp. Description of the founding and holdings of the library. Also included are two ALS by Dr. Belt, addressed to "Dear Dorothy," one on letterhead with Belt's initials printed in upper left, the other on three sheets of notepaper. Belt was a surgeon and collector who donated his large collection of books and other material by and about Leonardo Da Vinci to UCLA, where it became the nucleus of the Belt Library of Vinciana.
