This illustration covers about 2/3 of the board from top to bottom. No date, circa 1910s-1920s. 4" x 9." Board is clean and intact overall but there are some creases. Printed text reads, "Elmer P. Printer is listed as "Hayes Litho. Co., Buffalo, N.Y." Elmer P. Morris was also known as Elmer P. Morris Iron Works, a foundry that specialized in manufacturing poles for both gas and electric street lights in cities. The Hayes Lithographing Company was founded in 1900 by Herman Koerner, Herman Cosack, and Charles Hayes. Its predecessor was Koerner & Hayes which had been founded in 1881.
