UK,12mo HB,minus dw/dj,1st edn.NFINE.No owner inscrptn and unfortunately no issued dw/dj.Bright,crisp,clean,sharp-cornered, publisher's original black cloth with blind stamped diamond pattern and impressed bright,crisp silver gilt diamond motif to front bd,bright,crisp,stamped silver gilt lettering to spine/backstrip, rear bd plain black cloth,and plain white eps - front eps with minimal foxing but residue of impressed number 79 to ffe,rear eps with slight foxing spots; with negligible shelf-wear or creasing to edges and corners - no nicks,tears or bumping present.Top edges aged and toned with minimal dust- soiling foxing/spotting,fore -edges slightly brighter but sporadically foxed and spotted too; contents bright, tight and fairly clean,solid and sound - no intentional dog-ear reading creases to any pages' corners,appears unread - apart from my own collation.UK,12mo HB minus issued dw/dj,1st edn,11-257pp [paginated] includes XXV (25) chapters,plus [unpaginated] slightly foxed half-title page with story's precis title-page, contents list/table,title separator page with dedication to its reverse.Foxing/ spotting from front free endpaper has bled through to the prelims' page edges upto pp13,small separate blemish page edges of pp15-18,similar foxing/spotting from rear free endpaper has bled through from pp257 back to pp254.
