the book has many flaws. the book starts on the half-title page. there is no title or copyright page so I cannot be sure what the edition is. the contents page has a tear in it and the foreword by smuts has the first 2 leaves missing. apart from this the book is complete. there are age related markings and one of the illustrations has a little colouring-in. the book has been re-bound recently in full genuine dark leather..
