Googe, (1919-2013) , peacefully passed away April 19, at 94 years of age. A native of Winston-Salem, Bill graduated from R. J. Reynolds High School and attended The Citadel, before joining the Royal Canadian Air Force. He married Vivian G. Hoots in 1943 and left soon after for England, where he flew a Lancaster bomber in missions over Europe. After World War II, Bill worked in sales for several companies, which led to a 30 year career as a manufacture r's representative of component parts to the furniture industry.
