True 1st edition of this rare title with the 26 page catalogue to the rear.This copy has a litany of problems. Boards are damp stained and faded to the spine. Compressed page edges have come under heavy attack from insects with losses eating into up to 1cm (mostly 5-6mm) in the page margins, other than the rear endpaper and last blank page which have a 3cm chomp from the edge. There are dirty brown marks to many pages.Pencil name to the back of the frontis. Good points. The plates are all present, no text is obscured, the binding is solid.
