Original business letter handwritten in black ink on beige lined paper. Letter is on the printed stationery of "James & Seaton, the Auburn Bar and Cafe." Signed, "James & Seaton," at the bottom. Datelined November 9, 1911 in Auburn, California. 8 1/2" x 11." One page, complete. Letter is very clean and intact but has light age toning, a few horizontal and vertical fold lines, and a small puncture toward the top (not affecting text). A Very Good copy. An original business letter from James & Seaton of Auburn, California to the El Dorado Brewing Company of Stockton, California. The printed header also includes the following text which shows what James & Seaton specializes in: "Fine Wines, Liquors and Cigars; Cold Storage; Valley Brew Beer; First Class Restaurant." The names of "G. W. Seaton" and "Tom James," likely the proprietors, are also printed at top. In this letter, James & Seaton requests that the El Dorado Brewing Co. pay for items they had sent to them on October 18. The letter lists the four line items that James & Seaton had shipped which include "splits" and "kegs." The letter finishes with, "As yet we have received no credit memorandum covering same.
