The edition of How to Make Indian and Other Baskets is the 2nd Edition, 1904. "Privately printed by the author, George Wharton James." Original publisher's green cloth binding with gilt lettering and a beautiful gilt decoration of a woven basket on the front cover. 6 1/4" x 9 1/4." [1]-271, advertisement, [1]-136, [8], complete. Many black and white illustrations, complete. The eight pages in the back contain advertisements for the Basket Fraternity and "Indian trading stores," an Index, and the list of illustrations for "How to Make Indian and Other Baskets." The first title also has a list of illustrations as well as an Index and Appendix. Pages and covers are virtually pristine and intact. Slight corner wear and wear at the head and tail of the spine. A Fine copy. Pages [1]-271 comprise "Indian Basketry." The latter half of the book, Pages [1]-136, comprise "How to Make Indian and Other Baskets."
