Dr. van Son was a recognized Butterfly expert in south africa and published several highly regarded works on the subject. there are no other inscriptions but volume 1 has a small stamp mark from the Port Elizabeth Museum Library possibly because van Son was attached to this institution? . a rare set especially signed and inscribed to Dr, van Son.
