This example un-numbered and un-signed on the colophon, but inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper "To Alison [Mary Barnard] from Kathleen." 8vo. 79pp. Paper-covered cloth. Top edge gilt. A fine copy. No dust wrapper called for, but housed in the original unprinted acetate protector. Fifteen memoirs and essays, penned in the early forties and due for publication in 1946 by Editions Poetry London until that imprint ceased to exist and the manuscript was lost. This first publication of those essays was produced from a typescript created from the original Editions Poetry London papier-mâché moulds which were unearthed a decade after the original planned publication date..
