Original covers with replaced, brushed title label. Though Nagoya-based Eirakuya Toshiro editions of the MANGA are quite common, the Edo issues by Kadomaruya are quite unusual. In addition, this is, of course, an early issue of volume nine, a book usually seen in late Edo-era, early Meiji versions. With an 8 page Kadomaruya advertisement bound in at the back. With one small round wormhole piercing many pages, the printing is good, at first glance it seems worn but examination under a lens reveals fine detail soon lost in later printings.
