KAWAJI Ryuko, poet. ONCHI Koshiro, artist. MUI NO SEKKEI, Shishu. Tokyo, Fugaku Honsha, Showa 22 [1947]. Large 8vo., the book was designed by Onchi and illustrated by him as well. There is a wonderful abstract "essential portrait of the poet" in color woodcut by Onchi. Kawaji was the mentor in poetry for Yukio Mishima when the latter was in his early teens. The book represents quite an interesting intersection of author, artist & designer. The covers are a bit soiled, else very good condition overall. #43 of 600cc, signed by Ryuko.
