Knackfuß,A vertical,narrow gilt strip separates the two colours to front cover,top edges gilt,fore-edges aged and untrimmed.Negligible shelf-wear to edges and corners - no nicks,tears or splits present.Germany,slim Qrto cloth wraps,1- 144pp [paginated] includes German black letter text in German language,some English handwritten pencil+ink annotations to some pages' margins,134 contemporary b/w illustrations of paintings,woodcuts, copper engravings and drawings on glossy art paper throughout the text and book,a portion on Durer designed bookplates, additional added and tipped-in DURER-related illustrated newspaper/magazine cuttings interspersed throughout the book too.Plus [unpaginated] half-title with ephemeral sepia illustrated cutting attached,and title page and to the inside of the rear cover 2 folded b/w Durer illustrations - 'The Ravishment' and 'Jealousy' and 'The Great Satyr' - have been glued/attached,along with an empty, trimmed manila envelope.
