An interesting letter, in which LIndsay discusses the superiority of handwriting over typing, and at length discussed his celebrated etching "Self-Portrait" from both aesthetic and technical points of view. "The ridiculous dwarf with the wooden sword symbolises Australian culture for the enfeebled and fatuous thing it is for any defense art may expect from it". There is also some discussion of another etching "She Arrives". In fine state,
