Loeb, Harold : The Way it Was

Criterion Books, 1959

The front end page has been signed in blue ink by the author, Harold Loeb. Also included with the book is a separate note with an inscription from the author. The book itself is shelf rubbed and edge worn but remains strong and square. The dust jacket is shelf rubbed, edge worn and creased, with some small chips out of the top and bottom edges of the spine and some small closed tears along the edges. Despite this, the jacket remains intact, legible and charming. Internally, there is some very light and sporadic foxing throughout which is barely noticeable. There are no other markings or inscriptions aside from those of the author, and the pages within are crisp, clean and complete. The binding is the slightest touch loosened, but remains strong and the book whole. It is presented beautifully in cellophane. JK. Book Condition: Very Good. Binding: Hardcover. Jacket: Good

First Edition.
