Original typed letter unsigned on light olive-green paper. Datelined June 25, 1929 in Los Angeles, California. 8 1/2" x 11." One page, complete. Letter has fold lines (three horizontal and one vertical). Letter is very clean and intact overall but there is slight discoloration and a closed tear measuring about 1 1/2" on the right edge, not affecting text. "Ray S. Grant" is named as the magazine's publisher. A pin is included within the letter and is attached next to a solicitation from "Lola" referring to it, "Dear Radio Friend; This is a pin. [attached pin] Looks something like an old ordinary pin. It is really and truly a wonderful pin. You might say a magic pin, for it will bring to your door a magazine for a year if you will pin your two dollar or check, using this pin to pin it, and send to my Publisher."
