Original typed letter unsigned on light olive-green paper. Datelined June 25, 1929 in Los Angeles, California. 8 1/2" x 11." One page, complete. Letter has fold lines (three horizontal and one vertical). Letter is very clean and intact overall but there is slight discoloration and a closed tear measuring about 1 1/2" on the right edge, not affecting text. "Ray S. Grant" is named as the magazine's publisher. A pin is included within the letter and is attached next to a solicitation from "Lola" referring to it, "Dear Radio Friend; This is a pin. [attached pin] Looks something like an old ordinary pin. It is really and truly a wonderful pin. You might say a magic pin, for it will bring to your door a magazine for a year if you will pin your two dollar or check, using this pin to pin it, and send to my Publisher." "Lola" continues, "Thousands have written me they want me to continue my work over the radio, and thousands have written they have received great benefit from my talks and want to read and study more along the way I am teaching over the air.".
