Byron's coat of arms embossed on the front board in gold gilt. this copy is from the library of the Earl of Arran and has his bookplate under the front board. it is also signed "Arran" and dated 1830. it would appear that Arran made an error with the date and attempted to correct it. the binding is strong ..
