Barry Nelson (1917-2007) was an American actor. He is noted for being the first actor to portray the character of secret agent James Bond. The description reads, "Barry Nelson, popular stage, motion picture and TV actor, plays opposite Ginger Rogers in RKO's 'The First Traveling Saleslady,' a comedy drama of the 1890's. The Arthur Lubin production also stars Carol Channing, David Brian and James Arness." The First Traveling Saleslady was the last movie distributed by RKO Radio Pictures.. Photographic Image.
