The "Notes on the Cathedrals" series of mini-guide books and histories were first published during the Victorian and Edwardian periods and describe each of Britain's cathedrals. Employing surprisingly crisp photography, they were readily available at each cathedral and were hugely popular with visitors. The books measure 12x9cm, burgundy cloth, gilt titles, all in Near Fine condition with just some light wear to the spines and the scuffed slipcase. Volumes cover the following areas: Southern; Western; Northern; Midland & Eastern; N Western & Welsh. Great photographs. An uncommon set.. Book Condition: Very Good
