Housed on Port Island on the Great Sound the prisoners had to sign an Oath of Allegiance to the Crown (an example of which is shown in this book). In Afrikaans throughout these pages are fascinating and in good condition. The cover is tight and sure with light user and shelving wear about the corners and edges.
