Original publisher's multicolored wrapper with staple binding. Color photographs on front and back covers. Front cover shows view looking out onto a lake with Mt. St. Helens in the background. Back cover shows the Bonneville Dam on the Columbia River in Oregon. 8 1/2" x 10 3/4." Forty-eight pages, complete. Many reprinted photographs in black and white and color, complete. Pages and covers are very clean and intact. Binding is tight. Lower-right corner is a little bumped. A Fine copy. Pacific Pathways was a pictorial travel magazine that was established in 1946. From 1946-1948, Pacific Pathways ran as a monthly magazine. Beginning with Vol. 3, No. 5, the magazine changed to a quarterly. Each issue is replete with black and white and color photographs of scenic areas and points of interest in various western states of the U.S. Each issue contains articles that give a brief tour of each featured destination. This issue contains the following articles: "Trinity County ... Shangri-la of U.S.A.," "Portland, Oregon," "Shasta Dam," "The Redwood Empire," "Port Townsend," and "The Last Frontier for Fun" [covers Las Vegas, Nevada and other desert destinations in Utah, California, and Arizona such as Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, Scotty's Castle, Boulder (Hoover) Dam, and Lake Mead]..
