This volume is offered as is due to foxing, mostly moderate and in margins; although occasionally it can be quite heavy and in the image. Also, there is a shallow dampstain in the margin along the bottom edge. Ex-library: Each plate has a small blind-stamped seal at the outer edge of the leaf, not affecting the image; the contemporary binding has all of the usual library marks. It is bound in quarter calf with marbled sides; it is scuffed and edgeworn, sunned at spine, and has paste residue from a missing label on top board. This volume of plates probably accompanied a text volume; some of the plates indicate that it was part of Percier and Fontaine's Residences de Souverains. It is offered with all faults.
