The dust jacket is quite worn. There are large chips out of the top and bottom of the spine, obscuring the title and cutting out the publisher's details completely. The edges of the jacket are torn and creased. In spite of this, the jacket remains for the most part intact. Internally, there is a previous retailer's sticker on the front pastedown, and there are two signatures from previous owners on the front end page. There is heavy tanning and foxing on the first and last few pages and some light and sporadic foxing throughout, but the pages within are clean and complete. The book is cocked, but the binding is sound, and it is well-preserved in cellophane. JK. Book Condition: Good. Binding: Hardcover. The jacket (from a subsequent edition) is a bit sunned, rubbed, marked and edgeworn but has suffered little paper loss. The boards are a bit worn and marked. The binding has been repaired and the netting is visible at both hinges - more pronounced at the back. A few tiny stains to some pages - a drop or two of liquid was spilt on the vertical page edges; otherwise clean - one bookseller sticker with corresponding offsetting. The fbep is missing..
