A very good copy indeed in the rare variant Mauchline Ware binding, the wooden boards bearing an all-over tartan design, with a large oval chromolithograph view inlaid centre front board, small chip lower rear corner. The red leathger spine is rubbed and worn at the ends. Overall an attractive example of a delightful view book, in an apposite binding probably issued to mark Victori's Diamond Jubilee.
