With sixteen pages of plates. “The Concordia-Argonaut club was the men's social club largely of the wealthy German-Jews who had such a large part in the creation of San Francisco's economic and social life. It was integrated in the 1960's with Willie Mays being the first black member. The club had various homes over it's long history. It's Van Ness home was destroying in the earthquake of 1906. It was eventually rebuilt in the same location only to be seriously damaged by fire in 1982.
