Black and white illustrations and reprinted black and white photographs, complete. Pages and covers are very clean and intact. Binding is tight. In the upper-left corner of the front cover are numbers handwritten in pen. Green stamp is on the front cover and faintly on the first page that says, "John F. Kennedy Senior High School Library, Sacramento City Unified School District, Sacramento, California." Lower-left corner of back cover is slightly bent. A fine copy. The author of this article discusses many aspects of Cuba, such as its history, culture, and resources. Emphasis is placed on Cuba's resources and is viewed from an American perspective. Page 34 is the first page of another article, "The Charm of Cape Breton Island: The Most Picturesque Portion of Canada's Maritime Provinces--A Land Rich in Historic Associations, National Resources, and Geographic Appeal," by Catherine Dunlop Mackenzie..
