Dutch journalist and resistance fighter Adrian Aloijsius Felix (Lex) Althoff (1904-43) displays his avante garde photographic style in this publication that sought to bring attention to the poverty of the Jews of Poland. The cropped and stylized images here depict Jewish genre scenes in creative compositions.
