the original red boards are a little shelf rubbed. the book is from the south african ship "general botha" and has the ships stamp dated march 1933 simonstown. there are a couple of small notes in ink, and official updates pasted in. the title page is dated 1910 but there is an insert on the title page dated 1911. the binding is excellent and the book has been well cared for..
