Complete with all plates and maps. The boards are shelf rubbed and edge worn. The corners are knocked inwards and the gold gilt to the spine has dulled. Aside from this, the boards are strong and square. The dust jacket is quite shelf rubbed, marked and edge worn. It has chips out of the top and bottom edges of the spine which slightly obscure the text of the spine and there are several chips and tears along the edges. The back of the jacket has some light liquid staining to it. Despite this, the jacket remains remarkably whole and intact. Internally, there are some faint pencil markings on the half title page, but the rest of the pages within are crisp, clean and complete. The binding is tight, and it is well preserved in cellophane.
