Undated, circa 1970, publisher not stated Folio book in heavy weave covers with black embossed Japanese print. 297 numbered pages of usually full page full color plates, some two page, depicting the seasons of Japan enclosed in somewhat worn box. 2 pages of maps, section with photos and descriptions (in Japanese) of 34 photographers included in the volume. 218 plates. Book is in excellent condition but with previous owner's name in heavy sharpie on all page ends and faint "X" marked on colored squares on back cover. Book otherwise shows no wear. Binding is solid and square, covers have sharp corners, exterior shows no other blemishes, text/interior is clean and free of marking of any kind. Text in Japanese and English. Cloth covered box is stained, one corner is torn, faded and rubbed at corners and has previous owner's name at upper edge in Sharpie.
