Pages and covers are very clean and intact. A comedic sketch about a husband and wife, Farquar and Agatha Winterbottom, who face dire circumstances when they are attacked by hostile natives. Ashton Stevens (1872-1951) was an American drama critic who was well-acquainted with many famous playwrights and stage performers. Gene Markey (1895-1980) was an American author, producer, and screenwriter who was familiar with the Hollywood scene. Vincent Starrett (1886-1974) was an American writer, journalist, and bibliophile.
