Stewart, William : Clanland : Painted and Described by

London Midland and Scottish Railway Company, 1927

52 pages (complete). A comfortable, homely copy. The card covers are much worn, marked and scuffed all about. They are secure and sure. The contents are most pleasing. This travel guide and brief history of the clans of the Highlands was illustrated and written by William Stewart of the Paisley School. An interesting fact about this William Stewart is that he is the only man by that name, or Stewart male whose first name began with the initial "W", to exhibit a work at the Royal Academy Schools in London. Although the frontis and end papers are a little marked and worn, the pages are clean, very comfortable and contented, clear, proud, engaging in every way. fk. Book Condition: Very Good.
