stamped lettering is to the very foot of spine/
backstrip,and with concomitant shelf-wear from bumping and reciprocal creasing to the foot,these letters have either oxidised or been worn away and are barely discernible.Spine/backstrip lightly sunned/faded - as usual/normal - and rear bd's lower corner has a couple of minimal stains.Despite these only minor faults/
defects,the book really is in a remarkable clean condition and state,particularly given the absence of the
protective dw/dj.Top edges coloured light brown,fore-edges slightly aged/tanned - as usual/normal - with some minimal,sporadic spotting/foxing,lightly marked,but generally clean,plain white eps; contents bright,tight,
