The front cover is decorated which is defiantly pleasant. The copies are complete except for page 239 (March 25) which is torn in half. The covers are much worn and marked. The spine is supple if creaky. The contents are tanned and worn about the edges but are otherwise clear, genial, genteel, a treasure trove of dramatic Victorian story-telling. fk.
