Original publisher's gray wrapper with blue text and staple binding. 8 3/4" x 12." Twenty-two pages (Pages 881-902), complete. A few pages of advertisements in front and back and various advertisements interspersed throughout magazine. Many black and white reprinted photographs, drawings, and illustrations included. Page 883 shows a reprinted black and white portrait of W. B. R. Moorhouse (1887-1915) with an airplane behind him. Moorhouse was the first airman to receive the Victoria Cross (VC), which is the highest and most prestigious award in the British honours system that is given for "gallantry in the presence of the enemy." On front cover: "Flight: First Aero Weekly in the World. A Journal Devoted to the Interests, Practice, and Progress of Aerial Locomotion and Transport." Pages are very clean. A bit of chipping on top edge and spine. Top-right corner has a small chip that does not affect text or images. A clean copy overall. Some of the articles include: "How We Encourage the Native Industry," "A Study of Bird Flight" by Dr. E. H. Hankin [discusses the form of birds in flight; specifically, the vulture, flexing of the wings in flight, and flex-gliding], "The Manville Prize," "'Flight' Technology" [focuses on "a combined land-brake and pneumatic suspension attachment"], "Fire and the Aeroplane," "The French Military Competitions," "Air Pressure on Plane Surfaces Moving Normally" by L.
