Original publisher's beige wrapper. 7" x 10." Fifty-five pages, complete. Signatures of Clerk Thomas H. Reynolds and Deputy Clerk Colin M.[?] Boyd are written in black ink on Page 55. On the back cover is handwriting in black ink denoting the names of two of the attorneys, P. B. Ladd and William Sherwood and are possible signatures. A few original annotations and corrections are handwritten in black ink within the document. "G. F. & W. H. Sharp, and Hunt & Rising" are listed as the attorneys for the defendants/appellants. "P. B. Ladd" is listed as the attorney for the plaintiff/respondent. Pages and covers are very clean and intact. Spine has some splitting and chipping. A Very Good copy. This case in the California Supreme Court is about a dispute involving a land deed in San Francisco. Plaintiff Thomas S. Miller alleges that defendants George F. Sharp, William H. Sharp, and Charles L. Morris cheated and defrauded him out of his interest in land at lot No. 1455, the southeast corner of Lombard and Kearny Streets in San Francisco. There are reprinted testimonies from the plaintiff, defendants, and renters on the property. Excerpt from Page 47: "As conclusions of law, the Court finds ... [t]hat said plaintiff is the owner in fee simple of the undivided one-third of said premises, and that George F. Sharp is the owner of two undivided thirds thereof." Excerpt from Page 53: "You will please take notice that the defendants, George F. Sharp and William H. Sharp, in the above entitled action, hereby appeal to the Supreme Court of the State of California from the order, finding, and interlocutory, decree or judgment therein made and entered ... in favor of the plaintiff and against said defendants, and from the whole thereof.".
