See also my book ID rja1092323 for facsimile edn of Cook's first voyage [1768-1771.] Visually the exterior appearance is more than acceptable,and particularly internally,the book is in an exceptional condition/state of preservation and presentation.It is only the exterior faults described that prevents a slightly higher grading for the dw/dj.Despite them,it really is an exemplary example for its cleanliness, brightness and lack of any other detracting faults.
