670 pages plus 226 pages of selections from the Psalms of David in metre with hymns suited to the feasts and fasts of the church and other occasions of public worship plus 4 pages of Gloria Patri (part of page 3/4 is missing plus table of contents page part of which is also missing. Leather covers are together but not attached to text. Covers are in quite good condition a bit scuffed and nicked and edge worn but not bad for age. Gold lettering on spine is worn but ok. Yellow endpapers of which free front end page is missing and free rear end page has a corner missing and other minor damage. Previous owner was Alfred Payton Crafts, Union College, June '49 (1849) . AEG (all edge gold). Book has looseness although nothing is actually falling apart. Since all pages are not consecutive it is hard to tell if there are any missing. Last page of Gloria Patri is230 and Table of Hymns is 237.
