Eight large canvas maps of the United States. In general comfortable condition. The Explanatory Handbook for Teachers (stated on the case) is missing. The maps are housed in a thick board slipcase. This is much worn, scrappy, marked. It is fit for purpose. Each map is of nine panels. The folds have wear, but are still functional and certain. Bronze eyelets. Each are of Bonne's projection. The card covers of each map is marked and worn from age and storage. They are however, firm, secure. They each have a previous owner (Technical College, Port Elizabeth) stamp. The reverse (blank) sides have storage marks. The cartographic faces are bright, bold, clean, clear, more than competent, confident. A still useful and resourceful set. fk. Book Condition: Good.
