First edition, a presentation copy, inscribed by the author on the title page: "Enya & Arthur from Ursula. I haven't given this to you before have I? Loud thought - forgive me if I have!" Slim 8vo. Paginated 287-316pp (this being the tenth title in the series). Stapled card wrappers, a little spotted and with three blotches of staining, but very crisp internally. Seventeen poems, the author's fourth such collection. Laid-in is a photocopy of one further typewritten poem which does not feature in this collection. Ursula Wood (née Lock, and later Williams) was the second wife of Ralph Vaughan Williams (they married a year after this collection was published), as well as his literary advisor, personal assistant and later his biographer; she also wrote the libretto to two of his last choral works.
