First Edition. A very good copy of this extremely scarce work, in original pale green cloth, edges worn. An early example of binder's cloth. This work, 436pp in length, devotes a great deal of its content to a discussion of Mungo Park's travels, as well as those of others sponsored by The African Association, W.G. Browne etc. The only copy we have seen in almost 30 years of trading in this field.
